NiteRider Technical Lighting Systems Invests Heavily in 24HR Race Support And Sport of 24HR Racing.

San Diego, CA- April 27, 2006- NiteRider Technical Lighting Systems, the leader in lighting for 24HR racers everywhere, continues to lead the industry in race support and commitment to racers.

For the past 15 years, NiteRider has continually put their support into helping 24HR racers make it through the night with industry leading lighting systems and unmatched support at races. In 2006, this commitment reaches new heights and levels of dedication. With races beginning in January and going until October, NiteRider will be attending and supporting racers at events in the US and Canada. Beginning in March, the NiteRider race support vehicle was to be on the road non-stop for 7 months.

Since the very first Granny Gear 24Hours of Canaan in 1992, racers with NiteRider lighting systems have relied upon the familiar NiteRider charging and technical support to make it to the finish. Stated Jack Gresmer, NiteRider’s Director of Sales, “in addition to Granny Gear's new 6 race National Series, we have expanded our support to a number of local/regional race events. In 2006 we also want to lend our support to independent promoters Nationwide. Our race support team will be in attendance at between 3 and 4 race events each month, every month from now through October. In all we will be at 23 race events in 15 states nationwide and in Canada.”

According to NiteRider C.E.O., Ed Andrew, “our support of 24-hour mountain bike races is our way of promoting the sport of mountain biking, giving back to the industry and providing support to those racers riding NiteRider. We go to these events not to look good, kiss babies and shake hands; we go to stay up all night and WORK for our customers!”
