By incorporating a new high powered LED, the MiNewt.X2’s
output more than doubles for 2008 to 150 lumens on high and
92 lumens on low! Regulated run times also increase for 2008
to 3:30 on high and 7:00 on low. Put in perspective, the new
MiNewt.X2’s lumen output on low is greater than the
first generation MiNewt on high! Optics are very important
to the performance of any lighting system, that’s why
a Borofloat lens and custom reflector are used in the MiNewt.X2
and other NiteRider LED lighting systems. This combination
delivers superior performance levels when compared to traditional
glass lens or T.I.R.’s. A
Gimbal Style mount is used
for handlebar mounting. A new titanium finish with an additional
clear coat for added protection, faster charge time and tabbed
mounting rings for easier handlebar mounting, round out the
MiNewt.X2’s 2008 features.
