Shanna is a three-time ULTRAMAN World Champion (2006, 2005 and 2003) and twice RAAM Champion (2006 and 2005), being the only female to finish the 2006 race. In 2006 she also won California’s desert endurance race, the Furnace Creek 508.

Shanna, who lives with her granddad in Lubbock, Texas, enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and says doing triathlons has helped her grow in many ways. Shanna says, “I do seem to have a God-given talent for endurance racing and I like to use my training and events to help me stay fit. However, I am also doing it to raise money to help the kids in my community. I believe I have to give back whatever I can to a community that has supported me throughout my career.”
