Being mindful that it’s more difficult for drivers to see bicyclists at dusk and dawn can be the difference between an epic or epic fail ride. We welcome the extra hour of daylight. And even still, we encourage riders to use the lights that they have day or night. To emphasize NiteRider’s commitment to cycling safety, this week we’re giving away a Solas 100 Tail Light. Let’s keep the conversation of cycling safety going! Click here for more details.

NiteRider Athletes Finish Strong

L TO R – NiteRider Athletes and SRAM Team Riders: Joshua García, Joel Ramírez, and Toño Sandoval On a very windy, slightly overcast Sunday, February 19th, NiteRider Athlete and SRAM Team Rider Toño Sandoval won his 2nd National Cup MTB XC Championship Series Category C 3 lap, 15k race on the very technical El Ocote course, in Aguascalientes. Leading from the start to the finish  with this victory Toño is now the leader of the 2017 National Cup MTB XC Championship Series, in Category C. We are very proud of him!!! CONGRATULATIONS TOÑO!!!! NiteRider Athlete Joel Ramírez – was 5th in Junior Experts. Joel was involved in crash 200 meters after the start, which broke his front wheel valve stem. The time we got a spare wheel from the pits and got him back on the track he was approxmately 4 minutes behind the last racer in his group and he still finisfed hard earned 5th overall. An excellent effort by Joel considering the number of riders he had to pass on this very technical course. NiteRider Athlete Joshua Garcia was 9th in Category B. In the Baja California Sur State Championship Series and Olimpiada qualifying races, February 9th through the 12th Joshua won 5 medals, 3 Gold, TT, MTB XC and Road; 1Silver and 1 Bronze on the Track one week before El Ocote and he was still tired and not fully recovered from 5 events in 4 days during the El Ocote race.

BikeRumor.com Reviews the Pro 2800 Enduro Remote

BikeRumor.com reviews the NiteRider Pro 2800 Enduro Remote MTB lighting system. Review: Burning trails with the NiteRider Pro 2800 Enduro Remote headlight By Michael Gushulak, Photo by BikeRumor.com “I used to believe that any light putting out more than 800 lumens was just overkill. I saw more power as more weight, cumbersome designs, and unneeded output. This was prior to experiencing NiteRider’s Enduro Remote series that offered me 2800 lumens, literally at the push of a button. It wasn’t the output that swayed my mind though, it was the battery and remote. The system took a bit of getting use to, but after my second ride finding the remote’s button became second nature.” Read entire article / review here.
