Warranty & Returns
NiteRider Technical Lighting & Video Systems, Inc. designs and builds lighting systems for performance, durability, and long-term use. We stand behind our products and warrant NiteRider products against defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty Coverage
NiteRider warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase from NiteRider or an authorized NiteRider retailer.
Products purchased secondhand, used, or from unauthorized sellers may not be eligible for warranty coverage. Warranty coverage is non-transferable.
NiteRider’s limited warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, crash damage, improper installation, alteration, unauthorized repair, or damage during return shipping.
Warranty Duration
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Mechanical components, including housings, covers, mounts, fasteners, and LEDs.
2-Year Warranty
Printed circuit boards, switches, and AC adapters.
1-Year Warranty
Rechargeable battery cells.
Warranty Claim Requirements
To request warranty service, please contact NiteRider Customer Support and submit a contact form to request a Return Merchandise Authorization, also known as an RMA number.
Products must not be shipped to NiteRider without an RMA number. The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the package.
Returned products must be properly packaged to prevent damage during transit. The customer is responsible for shipping the product to NiteRider unless otherwise directed by NiteRider Customer Support.
Proof of purchase is recommended and may be required. If a product is returned without proof of purchase, warranty eligibility may be based on the product’s date of manufacture.
Out-of-Warranty Repair
If your NiteRider lighting system is outside the warranty period, repair service may still be available.
Current bench charges:
Lumina Series Head Light: $40
Lumina OLED Head Light: $45
Pro Series: $40
If a light requires replacement of more than 50% of its components, the repair charge may be higher.
Please contact NiteRider Customer Support before sending any product in for repair.
Returns & Refunds
NiteRider offers a 60-day return policy on qualifying products purchased directly from NiteRider.com.
To be eligible for a return, products must be returned in new condition, with no visible signs of wear or use, in the original packaging, and with all included paperwork, parts, and accessories.
A 10% restocking fee may apply to items that are not returned in new condition, are missing original packaging, or are missing included parts or accessories.
To start a return, please contact NiteRider Customer Support and request an RMA number. Products must not be returned without an RMA number.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless the return is due to a NiteRider error or a defective product.
