Solves one problem, brings others

I found that the really nice niterider plastic mount meant my Lumina was being reflected by the cables (and into my eyes), and purchased this to get the beam above/past them. It works for that. When I got the NR plastic lumina adapter, I was much happier, the aluminum K-Edge product (https://k-edge.com/shop/light-and-action-camera-mounts/light-camera-accessories/niterider-adapter/) was no good for me... too fiddly to always be using tools to detach/charge and attach the light. I worried what might happen in a crash, and was pleased that yesterday the screws holding together the arms of this mount came undone and none of my bike, self, or light were damaged on impact. I wish the clamp had space for a bit of inner tube to protect carbon bars, I'm not even sure there's space for electric tape and is currently directly mounted on the handlebars
