Vmax+™ 180 ALTO Bike Taillight

Love the tail light. I’m a techie geek and just love the automatic brake light flashing ❤️
I feel much safer even during daylight hours.
Love all your work, even my 19 year old headlight with the water bottle battery.

The light works great, recharges easily. The braking reaction feature is sensitive - I clip my light to a brake cable instead of strapping it to the seat post. The light sits angled to the side rather than vertically. The braking feature activates constantly as a result - there isn't a way to adjust it for nonvertical position or turn it off. The on-off button is right next to the charging port cover. It's a little tedious to avoid accidentally pushing the on-off button while pushing the charging port cover back into place after charging. The on-off button reacts to a light touch and could easily activate when stored. It would be nice if it were more protected against accidental activation such as having a cover or requiring turning action - like a turning a dial.

I've never owned a rear light that was this bright before. It is great and intuitive to use.

Another fantastic light from Niterider. The VMax+ 180 Alto has a brake light feature that works surprisingly well. It’s great in group rides and the light has seriously bright output. The light is sleek and the flush panel projects a distinct pattern that’s easily visible from quite a distance. Battery life has been outstanding and I highly recommend this taillight for any cyclist.
