I can’t get my light off the mount. It’s very tight and solid

Broke after half a season

The screw that you would use to tighten the clamp to the handle bars has stopped twisting after half a season of winter riding (and I largely avoid riding at night). I can't even get it to twist with lube, or pliers. Unsure how this even happens. But a total pain in the ass. Something so insignificant shouldn't be the reason I can't use the light (which wasn't cheap).

Hi Kristina, all of our mounts are covered under our limited lifetime warranty so we can replace this for you! We have emailed you directly to assist you with this.

Quick clamp loses tension

Resonating what others are saying; the quick-connect that secures the clamp to the light will eventually flex and stop biting.
I got lucky and noticed it when it fell off my bike, but if I was one lane over in traffic that thing would have been crushed immediately.
I wouldn't trust this mount off road even if it was new out of the box.
I will probably add some tape or pickup another mount.

Expensive feature.

Assuming this is the same as the stock clamp that comes with many of the current Lights. Very secure on the handlebars, however the part that attaches to the light cannot be positively secured. It boasts a "quick connect" to easily remove for recharging, but this lock is held secure by the rigidity of cheap plastic, so on bumps it can bend a bit and the tabs can lose "bite" even after being correctly locked into place. Especially in the heat. It has happened twice, once I realized it and picked up the light no problems, luckily I was able to stop while suddenly riding in the dark. The other time was after sunrise, so I didn't notice when it fell off as it was off. An expensive lesson that you need to constantly push the tabs into place while riding to ensure it stays on.
I am now looking for a replacement light with a more secure mount.

Hi Christopher, Sorry to hear that. The design of the mount is intended to attach light to mount securely. Our mounts feature a lifetime warranty against issues like this. A member from our in-house Customer Service team will be reaching out to you to resolve any issues. Thank you.
