Non Standard 12V Barrel End

First of all, it does the job just fine. I like the orientation of the 120V blades that allow you hang it off the end of a power strip (parallel to the strip) - it's a space saver. Negative 3 stars for non USB, non standard 12V barrel.

The inner barrel on the 12V end is about 1.25mm larger than a generic 12V supply. For example, it will fit onto my wifi router, but a generic 12V supply will not fit into the 1800 dual lamp. This is doubly bad news because at $25, it way more expensive than a generic replacement.

All that said, don't lose your supply. It is very unlikely, but if the original supply toasts itself, you'll have to buy this one, or do a quick wiring job: snip off both barrels leaving some lead wire, then wire up (swap out) the generic 12V barrel on a new generic supply with the original.

Go in peace good people !
