It showed up with a rip where the plastic and rubber strap met. Pulled on it a little bit and it ripped in two.
I have to manipulate the positioning in order for the light to be charged. I might as well just buy a whole new light.
This 8-cell battery replaced my 6-cell version. I like the usb-c outlet to power other devices. I gave this battery a 3-star rating because this battery should be able to be charged via a USB cable. Unplugging the cable and having to carry a specific charger to charge the battery are not great.
I have only used the Mako 150 Front Bike Light once. I use it in flashing mode. I bought it to replace the Swift 300 that I had preferred. I have owned two Swift 300 lights, but both developed intermittent problems with charging connector. I was able to repair the last Swift 300 unit and it malfunctioned again. So I wanted a light without the problem connector. This will be my last Nite Rider purchase.
I'm only using as an additional light for the battery that came with my digital patrol light. It works wonderfully.
