Exactly as advertised a great complement to a Night Rider lighting system gives me better overall vision at night and makes traveling much safer....

This is my 2nd and 3rd NightRider Bike Taillights. These lights are Great emphasis on the capital "G". I get a little worried sometimes that such a bright flashing red light may activate someones epilepsy but so far so good and I have had my first NightRider for a good long time.
My one and only gripe I have with these (I purchased both a Omega 330 and a Cherrybomb 100) is that they do not fit the original style mounting that came with my original "Cherrybomb 100 (it wasn't called that back then but the light itself is 98% identical). That original mounting which did require a tool to mount on the seatpost gave the owner the ability to turn the NightRider either vertically, or my preferred horizontally (stuck with vertical now). The newer mounting bracket with vertical mount only also makes it a bit more cumbersome to remove due to its very close proximity to the saddle bag. I personally am not really a fan of the stretchy watch band type mounting as convenient as it is to swap between bikes. I would rather buy another compete unit with the original mounting bracket that I can orient horizontally or vertically. And that is my sole reason for giving both of these 4 stars instead of 5 stars which they absolutely deserve but with the original older style mounting bracket.
While functional, it's not sturdy enough to keep from curving in on each end. Also, unless the center pivot point is super super tight (which I'm at a point where I'm worried it's going to break), as I progressed on my commute the lights would end up being pointed down by the time I reached my destination. I'm still trying to see if I can prevent that, but as mentioned, I'm afraid I've reached a "too tight" point that If it drops again, not sure what I'm going to do.
